Delivery & Returns

Our family has a real passion for supplying handcrafted quality products from small artisan workshops across Spain and Italy. We understand that you cannot really commit to a pair of our Spanish espadrilles or Italian sandals until you have received them, experienced the quality and tried them on with a variety of different outfits. We also know that once you have clicked the purchase button you want those shoes NOW.

Our promise to you is that we will make every effort to ship your item on the day of purchase and to meet any special delivery requests that you may have. Furthermore, should you live within a 15 mile radius of our business, Chris will probably deliver by hand on the same day.

We offer a no quibble returns policy for return of purchases within 14 days of order date. If, once you have received your beautiful handmade shoes you find that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you are welcome to return them. All we ask is that the shoes have not been worn outdoors and that you return them in the cardboard transit box, in a resalable condition, together with the original packaging.

Deliveries from the UK to EU countries

From 1st January 2021 the UK is no longer part of the EU. Therefore, if you are ordering from an EU country you will not be required to pay British VAT when you purchase from us. At checkout you will pay less for our espadrilles and sandals, than someone who is ordering from the UK.

However, prior to delivery and on top of your purchase price, you may be required to pay one or more of; customs import duty, import VAT and an admin fee to the courier who is delivering your order. Please see below for an explanation:

Customs Import duty:

Deliveries from the UK valued at under €150 do not incur customs or import duty to EU countries

Deliveries valued at €150 or over are likely to be subject to import duty which will be payable by you to the courier before delivery. The courier may also charge an admin fee. The amount due will vary according to the customs authorities and customs thresholds in place in your country.

Import VAT:

If you are placing an order from an EU country, VAT is not included in the purchase price. Prior to delivery, you will be required to pay import VAT at the rate applicable in your country. This will be payable to the courier who may also charge an admin fee.

Charges for shipment to EU Countries vary from country to country and will be quoted at checkout. Shipments will be sent tracked by courier, usually UPS or DHL 2-5 Days. However, we reserve the right to ship via an alternative method during these unprecedented times.

Deliveries to the rest of the world Tracked Via UPS or DHL 2-5 Days

Please note shipping times are approximate within a day or two. We also reserve the right to change shippers if and when required.  The prices quoted below are for express shipping, we can offer much cheaper methods using both Royal Mail and your national postal service but these can take considerably longer to arrive. Please email us for a price if required.

Returns Policy

If you are not happy with your purchase, we are happy to accept back unused items that are in a resalable condition together with their original packaging including the transit delivery box within 14 days of dispatch date.

We respectfully ask that you repack your purchase in the manner you would wish to receive them. We are a small family run company supplying genuine handmade products, using the finest Italian and Spanish leather, which need to be resold once we have received them back.  

We offer either a full refund or an exchange where available. However, regretfully we are unable to refund your return postage.

If additional postage has been purchased for example UPS express delivery, Royal Mail special delivery or international shipping costs, please note these fees cannot be refunded.

We would recommend returning via a tracking method and keeping hold of the proof of purchase receipt.
